Positive: The apartment was spacious and clean, and the location was excellent, just a 5 minute walk to the sea front.

Negative: There was only one key provided for 6 people and it had to be inserted for electricity, which meant that anyone staying in the apartment while others were out had to stay up to let them back in. The parasol on the balcony was broken so we could only sit outside early morning and evening after the sun had gone down as at 32+ degrees every day it was far too hot without shade. The coffee table had a large dent as if the parasol had fallen on to it. However, the biggest disappointment was the pool. It was half empty and dirty. I have attached photos which you can see are nothing like the picture in the listing.The use of the pool was the main reason for booking as our little granddaughters are real water babies, and they were very upset, especially as they could see other children swimming in the pool belonging to the next apartment block. After being told by the host to contact one number after another, we were finally told it wasn't their problem as the pool was maintained by the property and that it was closed for the season, apparently a common thing in Cyprus (but not in the next door apartment block!) We then pointed out that their listing showed the pool was open and usable, and therefore very misleading. It was acknowledged that the listing would be amended, which didn't help our situation, and after more correspondence over 4 days, we were finally given a very small refund. The lack of a usable pool and the time wasted over days of messaging spoiled what would have been a lovely holiday. I strongly advise any other pool lovers to check that it is open before booking this apartment.
