This house is located on the "head of the harbor" in Wauwinet, facing west which gives you a fabulous evening sunsets. Perfect for children and boating.
First floor: Large area with kitchen, living and dining room. It is an open "beach cottage" space. Off of this area is a TV room and from there you walk down a hall in the old "beach cottage" part of the house. In this area are two twin rooms with a small bathroom (toilet and vanity) in between the rooms. Next is a double bedroom and a large king room with a view of the water. The full bathroom is just outside the bedroom door and next to that is the enclosed outside shower (shower with a view of harbor).
Second floor: Twin bedroom and queen bedroom. The queen has a full bath attached and the twin has it's own bath in the hall.

Wauwinet is just about the furthest one can go on the island before all roads turn to sand. Located to the northeast of Polpis, Wauwinet is the gateway to Great Point, Coskata, and Coatue. A small gatehouse stands at the entrance to almost 1500 acres of wildlife refuge owned by the Nantucket Conservation Foundation (Coatue and the Haulover), the trustees of Reservations (Coatue and Coskata), and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Great Point). This land contains miles of beaches, marshes, ponds, and wooded areas that provide habitats for many animals.
