A kind greeting and we THANK YOU for your booking-inquiry. We are hosts, Nathan and Lumen Kuhn. So, let us introduce you -to our very 'special' vacation-getaway. We shall present you with the following :
Our 12 FEATURES :
1. SUPREME location * 600 feet road-frontage : On top of Tanners
Ridge Mountain - In The Shenandoah National Park, VA.
2. SUPERIOR "Hiking" nearby * Appalachian Trail (1.5 miles) & Big
Meadows Resort (2.5) - with numerous 'challenging' trails.
3. Guests occupy the entire 3-level house : The (historic) "Mission" * The last remaining church in the Park. Our accommodations will serve six (MAX) ...with a "doggy").
4. GUEST RATES : The charge for a night's stay will provide for THREE persons. (For additional persons (over 3) there is an added charge of $35 per person /per night. The PET-Fee is $30 ( per night, per each).
5. As a family's private ART-Estate (for over 50 years), the "creative-space" - is authentic, throughout * serving Fine ART, creative-writing, and even JAZZ concerts). ENJOY.
6. Amendities are COMPLETE : (a) "Cozy" 3-bedrooms (w. 2-bathrooms) and 3-sofas. (b) Open dining-room & LOTS of lounging-space. (c) A well-equipt KITCHEN (spices. pots & pans, "smoothy" blender,.. coffee-bean grinder, ...OH! "Olive-Oil!). (d) ENTERTAINMENT throughout : ( ART, Sterio, Piano (keyboard) GREAT books, and the (upstairs ) GAME-table. (...also WiFi, TV, land-phone).
(7) Guests most always enjoy the Estate's private (2-acre) SCULPTURE PARK * with an early morning "sneak-out" to spot some deer (or BEAR, OOPS).
(8) For, our guests will soon be able to enjoy NATURE (and our
wonderful National Park) ... at it's BEST : The QUIET and calm; and it's
gentle PEACE and Solitude makes your stay very special. (Note: The estate is on 4.5 acres). ENJOY
(9) "Children" - just LOVE it -HERE ! (For, the COLORFUL "ART" throughout - begs for IMAGINATION). * SURE, We provide drawing-coloring supplies : for the 'aspiring' ARTIST).
(10) "DOGGIES" (& PETS * Even a large "talking" parrot, once ) - love the place, as well (especially, to chase-about in the Sculpture Park).
(11) WHY, OF COURSE! ( It's host, "Nathan's" GREAT ( 9am) breakfast -"TREATS" ! : His baked 'muffins' ( and next morn) - blueberry-walnut & bananna-walnut PANCAKES. ( "The Absolute, BEST-EVER" ) ... the 'reviews' will exclaim).

(12) GREAT "HAPPENINGS" ( OFF the mountain) ! : (Stanley- 5 miles) : Horse-stables, The "Lotus Garden" (Internationally attended Buddhist -Retreat) , "Wisteria Vineyard" (wine-tasting), Lake Arrowhead (with a nice beach) for swimming, boating, & fishing), ...and grocery-shopping : City of LURAY ( 9 miles) : The famous "LURAY CAVERN" (with multiple events). Then, a ZOO, The Water-park, The Green-way (2-miles of walking-trail), fishing & canoeing, Train-station (museum), Main Street -Shops : "Antique " stores ) and restaurants. ...MUCH more.
