Positive: I’m gonna start with the positive parts since I’m feeling generous today, The hotel looked lovely and had a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was okay, and the massage was a real highlight of our stay—very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable although it was provided by an external partner, we were very pleased with the experience. We also appreciated the young lady on the staff, who was kind, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Her friendly attitude made a positive difference to our stay. Unfortunately, our experience with the receptionist was disappointing. When she showed us our room she gave us the key without explaining how the hot tub worked or a small tour of the room and when i asked when should we pay, She seemed irritated and replied, “Why didn’t you tell me before we came to the room?” Also there was no hand soap in the bathroom. We booked a room with a jacuzzi and understood from the booking information that sauna and steam room access were included for all the guests for free . However, the receptionist told us we had not booked the required package, although we had seen no mention of a separate package on the booking page. ( and except from the page i spoke to the phone 2 times to confirm that the sauna and steam bath were for free for all the guests no matter the package). She also said the steam room no longer worked, despite it still being advertised on the website. Regarding the sauna, she said it was closed because there were no tourists (apparently being a local excludes you from being a tourist), even though the hotel appeared busy with tourist guests. We also noticed that she was much friendlier towards them than towards us, which made us feel unwelcome . She then explained that we should have requested the sauna beforehand because it needed an hour and a half to heat up. We confirmed that we wanted to use it, and she turned it on. However, when we went in, it was barely warm. We stayed for around 20 minutes without even sweating and eventually left.
